Sweet story but nothing to write home about, really...*shrugsWas good for helping me pass some time.
Beautiful characters though, I must say. Gave me quite a few "awwwww" moments.
Should point out that I found Ms Marks overuse of adverbs a massive distraction.
Would recommend regardless.

When You Noticed Me eBook Melanie Marks Reviews
All Ms. Marks books have at least one same scene. I don't know why that is, but it's unfair for us readers, since we PAY to read these books. For example, this book's plot and scenes are SURPRISINGLY similar to 'Fall For Me', and anyone who reads it would know what I mean. This author has certain potential, but this copying scenes and books thing is unacceptable. 'Jane's Air' and 'Love Liam' have the exact same plot, storyline - everything except for the names, and I'm not exaggerating. I think this can be considered a scam.
I didn't know this was a short story when I started it, and for the length it is cute and the story line is complete. But I have read some middle grade books that are more articulate than this novella. There is no real character development or depth. The writing could definitely use another editing session, and the way the characters spoke felt more like middle schoolers rather than high schoolers. It was short and took me just over an hour to read, but I do not see myself picking up anything else from this author.
I'm so sorry for the harsh words I'm about to write.
This book reads like a 13 yr old wrote it. The choppy sentences were beyond irritating and made it to where I could not get into the story. The over use of words had me throwing my head back and looking at the ceiling with extreme aggravation. Also, it could benefit from more editing. This was almost a DNF for me but I HATE doing that so I stuck with it. When You Noticed Me ends around the 50% Mark and transitions into another book that I had NO desire to read. I did like the plot of the story though and wouldn't mind reading it again with some major revisions and the story more fleshed out.
I really enjoyed this book. It was nice to read something that you don't have to avoid sex scene on every other page. It was funny and sweet. I didn't enjoy the extra book in the back but that's okay.
The first book, "When You Noticed Me" was good, but I didn't like the second book "Dreamy Kiss". It makes it look like vampires are good people while they are sucking your blood out and control your thoughts. I would NOT recommend this book for teens.
